Never Abandoned
2006 

With every available weekend, White Dove worked on a new CD to be titled Never Abandoned. The title song was written by Bill and Angela. The CD also contains an original by Angela called Singer's Prayer, and two originals by Ron, Traveling on Bended Knee and Learning to Live in the Lord. In addition, there will be standard hymns (hot-rodded White Dove style) and other songs that are in White Dove's current set lists.

White Dove's newest project is the result of listening to our fans. A frequently heard comment is that our CDs don't capture the energy of our live performances. So we went into the studio with the intent of recording a CD as close to "live" as we could get it. We even left in some of the banter and mistakes that occurred during the process. We think the result exceeds our goals. We feel like this CD has the energy level and fun that characterize our live shows. We think you'll enjoy this one!

The Gathering was submitted for a Grammy Nomination in 2002 in the category of Best Country, Southern,or Bluegrass Gospel Album. We didn't win, but you should have seen some of the names we were listed with. What an honor just to be on the same page as them! This CD brought together family and friends for a diverse collection of bluegrass gospel music.
